As someone who reads a lot of thrillers, ATTICUS really surprised me with a twist I would never have guessed! An unusual mix of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children and Lord of the Rings, this fast-paced book will keep you on your toes and capture your attention throughout. I did feel that at some points it was a bit too fast-paced, and certain points of the story were a bit disconnected and didn't flow together as well as I would have liked. However, I definitely enjoyed this read and thought the storyline was incredibly unique! |

I found myself lost in the world of ATTICUS - in the best way. Once I picked it up I didn't want to stop reading. I know a good book when I find myself completely immersed in the world. I was captivated by the characters, the setting and the twists and turns. Honestly, just when I thought I knew where the plot was going it shifted to something even better. I never would have expected the ending from where the book started and I mean that in the best way possible. I loved all the metaphors in the book and how deeply the characters relate to real life issues and situations we all deal with. I can't wait to re-read a second time to fully embrace all of the imagery in the text, and I can't wait to read what this author releases next!

Michelle S - 5/5 StarsOnce I started the book I just couldn't put it down. I'm an avid reader and tend to find myself predicting how the book is going to go. But man this one had me on my toes! The twist and turns had a smile stuck on my face, I love to have a book surprise me over and over. With vivid details I was able to truly jump into the world that is "ATTICUS". I started the book really thinking I had read every possible environment someone could think of to create, but I was pleasantly wrong. I love a story that can get my mind racing and keep me in the world way beyond the last page. This is truly an amazing story that will have me looking at the world in a different light!
